How long will it take to setup my care plan?
Once you sign up and provide login credentials, we’ll have your plan set up within 1-2 business days. Everything from speed improvements to security will be addressed by our team during on-boarding.
Does monthly time rollover?
Our care plans are designed to be monthly plans and as such we reserve your place in our queue and resources each month, therefore time for content changes do not rollover. However, by taking out either our premium or elite plans, you can take comfort in the fact that your requirements will be dealt with by our team with immediate attention.
What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc.?
Our website care plans are preventative care, so we do our best to prevent anything from happening. However in the event that your website has a major issue, we will be there by it’s side communicating with the web hosting company on your behalf. We do not make guarantees that your website will not be hacked, but we will do everything within our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.
How do monthly consultation calls work?
Email is our preferred form of communication and provides the quickest response. However, we know brainstorming and strategy works best on the phone or on a video call. These consulting calls are reserved for our Elite care clients. These calls help websites achieve their goals and reach a broader audience. Many times clients use this time for online screen-share, website strategy, SEO & digital marketing updates or training.
Does it matter what hosting provider I’m using?
We’ll work with anybody regardless of their hosting provider. We realise that every website has different needs and that clients have different budgets and hosting requirements. If you’re looking to switch, upgrade or just need a recommendation, drop us an email to info@etchtank.co.uk
How does the SEO within the Elite package work?
With our SEO package we work every month on getting your website ranked higher in Google. Initially we help identify the keywords to target and with the help of a full website audit, we make recommendations on how to optimise your website for SEO. We have a comprehensive document explaining our SEO services in full and you can request a copy by sending an email to info@etchtank.co.uk
What if I need more support time/hours?
If you have a feature request or task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. We will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at our current support rate of £70 + VAT per hour.
Can I really cancel at any time?
Absolutely. We are focused on achieving results for you and your website, so we would be sad to see you go. But we know that financial needs impact on many business decisions and we don’t want to lock anyone in. Request a cancellation via email to info@etchtank.co.uk and we will immediately stop the next payment.
My website was not built by Etchtank, can I still be on a website care plan?
Although our plans are designed for sites that were built by us, we welcome clients who are looking for a long term partner with a professional and dedicated digital agency.
We first like to carry out a website evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential issues that can arise. With the evaluation we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup. Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly care plan. Our Website Evaluation service is a fixed price of £680 + VAT.

*** You simply send us an email with clear instructions on the content you want to change on your website (text, images, events, testimonials etc) and we get to work and let you know when it’s done – usually by the next business day. Care Plans do not cover advanced or custom features /changes. They also don’t cover graphic design tasks.
